What Causes Dryness In Outer Labia And Clitoris And White Skin Around It?

I have very dry outer labia and clitoris and it looks like there is white skin that huddles around it. I don't have any discharge from the vagina, no pain during urination, my inner vagina is normal, no odor, or anything else out of the ordinary? Any ideas on what this is?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

This may be due to chronic vaginitis or vulvitis which causes this kind of discoloration. Wash it with warm water frequently, try changing your under garments. If it is itchy then you need to started on a topical ointment. Get a gynecologist consultation if it is so. Otherwise you use V-wash for intimate wash.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
