Hi, I m a 23yrold female and last night I found a lump on my nipple, it doesn t itch and isn t sore but it is dry and the skin is peeling. I ve had peeling skin here before but not a lump which is almost the same size as the actual nipple! Should I be worried?
It is difficult to know what it is without being able to see it. However, it is common to have something called Montgomery's Glands that could be what you have. However, there are many other possibilities as well. It could be a cyst, a fibroadenoma, a lipoma, or many other things that could represent as a lump on the nipple. usually your doctor will know right away what it is on examination. I would recommend that you see your doctor so that he/she can figure out what is going on. I hope this was helpful to you, please let me know if you have any further questions.
