What Causes Dry, Itchy And Red Patches On Forehead And Cheeks?

I also have patches of dry, itchy, redness on forehead and cheeks, they dry and flake up and when I remove the dead skin from the forehead, it looks like a shiny red spot. I ve tried olive oil, baby lotion, tea bags on it. I am on several medications, but will a antibiotic help, and maybe fungus cream. Could this be internal or lack of vitamin. This is very itchy, I have to take benadryl but it only relieves the itching for a while. What can I do.

The symptoms you had mentioned are most probably due to some fungal infection. For treatment you can take some antibiotic preferably cefadroxyl after an expert opinion along with avil or cetrizine for itching ad redness. You can use betnovate-c cream or candid-b powder for local application. You can take some multivitamins like metilda-forte or meganeuron-plus once daily.
