What Causes Dry Cough, Weakness And Body Aches Every Year?

dry cough for a month, weakness, all started with body aches which have gone away, some mucus was yellow, now is white, 2 cats in house, losts of carpets, steroids, cough syrup, antihistimines dont seem to make much difference. Neither does indoor vs. outdoor.....happens every 2 years.....sometimes every year in Spring, or Winter, now its in late Summer.

Let me explain few things or factors which are responsible for such type of symptoms .
Running nose , watery eyes, dry hacking cough , whistling sound during breathing , breathlessness ( even with mild exertion), sneezing .
The factors ( or predisposing factors ) are mold , sudden fall & rise of temperature , pollen, hay , fodder, cotton fiber, dust , fine dusting powder , which produces such type of allergy .
This type of allergy is known as asthmatic allergic bronchitis .
If infection occurs there also develops mucus ( as yellow color of mucus present in your case).
When such type of patient visit I usually prescribe them monteleukast+ bambuterole tablets twice in day .
In your case yellow color mucus present so please get in an examination this mucus for A F B, as tuberculosis may be the reason . Also get in X RAY chest .
Bronchiectasis may be the another reason of such symptoms so Xray chest is important.
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion or deal as I mentioned above.
