Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Drowsiness While On Plavix, Lipitor And Aspirin?
I have had twoo strokes within this year.. I am getting along well other than the fact that I feel like I am drunk all the time. Not exactly dizzy but drunk. I take plaxis and lipator and a baby asprin. I also have authritis and take ppredison 5 mmg day and one methotrexate once a week. Could my drunkeness be from the medisine I take or from the strokes?
I don't think that dizziness is due to medications. Kindly check blood sugar level, blood pressure and complete haemogram after consultation with physician. It may be due to hypoglycemia or hypotension. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying conditions. Don't stop any medications without consultation. Keep yourself hydrated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale,
