What Causes Dizzy Spells Post Titanium Rod Placement In Back?
I have titanium rods place in my back about 22 years ago and the last four years I have been having strange dizzy spells ,my head feels like some part of my brain or skull shifts and I lose all where I am in space .at times I feel sick to my stomach and if I have some chocolate I feel better.there is no doctor willing to see me for my back issues cause I had the surgery in a different state ,so I have just learn to live my dizzy spells.any advice would be helpful.thank u
The typical complain of dizzy spell; relived by eating some chocolate (sugary food) is suggestive of underlying hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). The back surgical intervention is less likely to cause the above mentioned symptoms. It is important to get your blood work-up done for blood glucose levels and electrolyte panel to rule out hypoglycemia. Kindly, consider seeing a GP at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
