What Causes Dizziness While Suffering From Flu?

I have been experiencing dizziness. Of course I have had the flu and I am at the tail end of it. I have been taking krill oil as recommended by my doctor to help lower triglycerides. I am taking about 2,000 mgs. a day. I wondered if the dizziness could be related to the amount of krill oil I take.? And how much Krill oil is too much? I am also taking 40mgs. of Pravastatin. He added the krill oil because it seemed the Statin wasn t enough to lower the triglycerides. But I am wondering about the dizziness. It s been about once a day and vertigo like, but doesn t last. I am 57 years old. I have Celiac disease, hashimotos disease, and sjogrens disease. Any thoughts n the dizziness? Thanks Iris Smith

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

We have to rule out possible causes like anemia and thyroid dysfunction.

You have to do a complete blood count and thyroid function test (TFT) for further treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
