Is Dizziness While Lying Down And Looking Backwards An Issue With The Inner Ear?

I have been having mild dizzy spells, especially when I am laying in bed and look backwards to turn off my nightlight on my headboard. Also, sometimes during the day if I turn around too quickly I will experience mild dizziness. Could this be inner ear problems? Thanks for listening.

Hi,

I think it may be a problem with inner ear causing benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. You can meet a ENT doctor for further examinations. Medicine is used for BPPV.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
