I will preface my question by stating that I am a happy, healthy 25 year old female. I try to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. Part of that includes getting an adequate amount of sleep each night. I generally fall asleep quickly and I feel like I have a deep sleep every evening. My problem/question is that I sleep so soundly nothing seems to be able to wake me up. I set three annoying sounding alarms far away from my bed just to make sure I wake up in the morning. Upon waking I always feel extremely dizzy, with a heavy head as if my brain is barely able to function. It is an awful way to start my morning. Any ideas what could be triggering this reaction following a deep sleep?
