What Causes Dizziness, Buzzing Sound In Ears And Disorientation?

I am experiencing bouts of dizziness, buzzing sounds in the ears and head during an episode, disorientated and have to hold on to something in case I fall, I also have rapid breathing, I have never had these symptoms before and have had them for 4 days, getting worse. I am 54 years old

It is possible that your symptoms may be due to Meniere's disease.

This is a condition of the inner ear that is associated with tinnitus (abnormal sounds in the ear), dizziness.

There are other common causes as well.

It would be best to see your doctor for an assessment to confirm this.

Treatment mainly involves low salt diet and diuretics if needed.
