What Causes Dizziness Along With Pain In Shoulder And Lower Arm?

yes, thank you my son 39yrs, has been having dizzy, faint, back pain, shoulder pain, some pain in lower arm, this is all on his left side, very hot, mostly when he is doing little as in walking, but sometime just when he is sitting, tired all the time yawning. seen doctor and his blood pressure was very high, and cholesterol was at 11. the doctor only put him on coversal 4mg and said to diet for his cholesterol . blood presser was 162/111 on is down to 152/94. he has been on the pills for 1 week. I think something else is wrong.

Your son seems to have dyslipidaemia coupled with uncontrolled blood pressure. If he is overweight I suggest him to reduce his weight with effective calorie restriction. Additionally, low salt diet ( DASH) is also suggested. Lifestyle modifications and alternative therapies like yoga,meditation is also suggested.
He also needs to be started on an Anti hypertensive tablet. I also suggest to test for Blood glucose levels if he is obese. Complete blood haemogram is also useful. Hope this helps.
