What Causes Dizziness After Taking A Sleeping Pill?

Thank you! I began with half a pill of Sleeping Aid, but I decided to reduce it even further the second time. However, the next day there was still some dizyness, very slight though. I want to know if this means I m allergic to Sleeping Aid. I still wish to use it because it really helps me to fall sleep fast and to sleep well.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No, this is not allergic reaction to sleeping pills.
So no need to worry for allergy.
Some degree of dizziness, giddiness, lethargy are common with sleeping pills.
These pills actually sedate our brain.
So brain activities get slower and so dizziness and giddiness are commonly seen in early days.
But these are temporary side effects and go away with time.
So don't think too much about dizziness, continue taking sleeping pills according to doctor 's advice.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
