What Causes Discharge Of Blood Tissues During Urination?
Hi, I have been having these large tissue like substances that come out when I pee. It hurts so bad when it makes it was down the bladder. I have a history of Kidney stones and the pain I get from the stone in my bladder before it passes is the same As what I these tissue like substances feel like. once I pass it, I m fine. The pain is gone. This just started happening to me about 3 months ago. What is wrong with me? I m terrified that something may be wrong with my kidneys.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Passage of large tissue bits in urine is unlikely. Tissue bits pass from the vaginal tract during menstruation but unlikely to be from the urethra. A clinical assessment is required to assess the tissue bits and the site from where they pass out. In addition, the symptomatic kidney stones have to be managed depending on the size and location of the stone. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment, investigations and thus management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
