What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing Along With Excessive Salivation?
I have been having trouble swallowing. Sometimes it is incomplete . In other words, what I swallow comes back up, including lots of saliva. I also have heartburn and suspect this should go to a gastro- enterologist. I am an eighty-year-old woman.

If you have difficulty in swallowing solid and liquid foods both, then you definitely concern with gastroenterologist urgently. Do endoscopy after consultation. It may because of obstruction, somewhere in the esophageal end. I will suggest you consult with a gastroenterologist as soon as possible with reports.
