What Causes Difficulty In Breathing And Pressure In Chest?

I have been having a hard time taking a deep breath and a fullness and pressure in my chest, i frequently get dizzy, occasionally difficulty swallowing and been extremely tired the last couple of days. Sometimes i feel a tingling sensation in my left shoulder and arm also. 2 weeks ago i had a chest xray and it was normal(symptoms have gotten worse in last 2 weeks) I have an appt. To see a pulmonologist in a couple weeks should i just to see him or should i go back to my family dr before?

Thanks for contacting HCM. Dear patient your symptoms point towards cardiac cause rather than respiratory. I would suggest that please get your BP checked along with an E.C.G. along with Cpk mB and HbA1c. This will identify the cause and will help in proper treatment. regards
