Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my husband had a stroke about 4 weeks ago. I called 911 as soon as I suspected any problem. the doctor at the hospital said he suspected the paramedics got here before it was even over. He s in rehab now. I feel that he is very depressed and I m not sure they think so. Is that something common after a stroke? He also tells me his brain is not working right.

Depression could be the result of any stroke, or any other injury or any surgery that matters and therefore there is not much to worry about it. The doctor will take care of it if you notify them about it. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. K. V. Anand
