What Causes Delayed Periods?

I have been late for 11 days now. i am sexually active in the past month. we are not using any condom but he always make sure that he pull out in time. i already took 2 home pregnancy test when i was 6 days late before, it both came out negative. and i dont feel any kind of symptom related to pregnancy. what could be the reason i still don t have my period?

Delayed periods in fertile age & specially with active sex life...
- first possibility is conception... as even with pull out method few sperms may escape unknowingly & precum is also known to have few sperms .. & may cause conception.
Home pregnancy test gives reliable reports after 8 days delay in menstruation. So you should repeat pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy .
- In case pregnancy is excluded... delay in periods can follow physical or psychological stress, severe anemia, hormonal problems involving ovaries, thyroid or PCOD.
These need to be corrected by specific treatment , after confirming cause. Consult a gynecologist .
