What Causes Delayed Periods?
Hi I ve been concerned over my late period it s been 7 weeks going on my 8th already. I had sexual intercourse a week ago in which my boyfriend pull out noticing precum coming out quite a bit, we continued and he did end up ejaculating close to my area(the next day he urinated and then we continued but did not ejaculate) so I wanted to know what are the chances of getting pregnant? So far no cramps related to my period or other signs of pregnancy that I can actually tell. I tested today but the test was blank, nothing showed up! What would be my options?

The delayed period could be due to hormonal imbalance because of changing of birth control pill.
I would suggest waiting for a period. If period will delay by more than 14 days from expected period date, consult the gynecologist for detailed examination. for investigations of irregular menstruations.
You may be asked for hormonal work up like FSH, LH, Oestrogen, Progesterone, Prolactin, etc.
Before hormonal checkup, you will be examined internally to find any organic disease like infection or cyst-Ultrasonography also will reveal a good amount of information regarding your internal organs (and even pregnancy also).
Avoid stress, take a healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.
