What Causes Delayed Periods Even After Taking Susten?

Hi My period got delayed.so i did pregnancy test which gave me negative result.consulted genealogist,she gave me susten 100 mg for 5 days. And told to wait for 7 days to get periods regulary. But i dint get the period.Repeated the pregnancy test result is negative. What to do in this case?

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. I have gone through the query and would like to offer some suggestions. If you have never had such delayed periods, and have not responded to withdrawal hormone medication, you have to get a trans-vaginal sonogram to know the status of the pelvic organs. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed 3-7 days after the missed period. However, since you have a negative test, you can go for the blood test as it is very sensitive and specific. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
