What Causes Delayed Periods And Vaginal Dryness After Implanon Insertion?

I have had the Implanon for nearly 4 years now (1 change over) and it has been fantastic. I have not had my period since the insertion. Since having the Implanon my vagina has been dryer than usual and I feel that since the second implant it has been exceptionally dry. Last week my vagina became somewhat inflamed and even the slight rub of underwear hurt. My clitoris is also very sore.. When I shower it almost feels like salt going into a wound so I assume there is a rash or broken skin. I also have perianal crohns and have been in a flare of that, therefore using a bit of cream which may be aggravating the situation? I assumed that the cream and anti inflammatory steroids would help if anything? To be fair, it did help my vagina, but not my clitoris. I don t have a sexual partner and was STI free at my last pap test
