What Causes Delayed Periods And Severe Pain In The Upper Abdomen?

Hi , the past 2 months my periods have been averaging out to be about 2 weeks late. I'm currently 11 days late today. I've always had a normal 28 day cycle, and no I'm not pregnant. I've been experiencing severe top abdominal pain the the point where I can't talk or even get in a comfortable position. The first time it happened it last for about an hour and I ended up taking ibuprofen because I could no longer handle it. This happened 2 days before my first late period started.Today was the same but this lasted for about 6 hours. I've vomited and also have had tingling hands, arm, and feet. If there is any repetition to this my period should start in about 3 days. Any idea what this could be?

Hi,

Do you have fever or urinary problems? If so need to rule out any infection. If the pain continues it may be better to get an ultrasound scan and gynaecology check up.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
