What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Vaginal Spotting?
I have had a regular mensis since I was 12 I am now 18 but for literally a year and one month I have had none. In January I had minor spotting with no pain and it lasted two an a half days then just this past week I had light pink/orange discharge followed by a tiny bit of medium brown with no pain. I have gone to the Dr a few times in the past few months because I get alot of pressure they tried to do an abdominal ultrasound to figure out why my period hasn t showed itself but came up with nothing. My question is what would cause this?
Ultrasound pelvis,FSH LH hormone ratio ,thyroid profile and blood sugar level, body mass index is essential to identify the cause of irregular periods.
You may require hormonal treatment for a few months to resume periods.
Dieting,Severe exercise, excess weight loss and sometimes long travel,Nutritional deficiencies can cause absent or delayed periods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
