What Causes Delayed Period And Abdominal Cramping While HPT Is Negative?

I m a 31 year old healthy female; I have very regular periods but I was supposed to get my period 3 days ago but it still has not come. I have taken 2 pregnancy test first thing in the morning and they are negative. I also have mild cramps that come and go.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Pregnancy needs to be ruled out when you have delay in periods. Since it is negative with pregnancy test, and you are also experiencing abdominal cramps, delay could be due to hormonal imbalance.
To confirm the cause, kindly get your blood tested for beta-HCG, FSH, LH and prolactin hormone levels.
Kindly consult Gynecologist with report for appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
