What Causes Delayed Period Along With Negative UPT?

Hi ,

I m mother of 2 kids ,and I m waiting for my period to come as usual , i m in 36 days without bleeding , and i did pregnancy test ,which was negative . Now i taking duphaston twice a day, I have just started taking this medicine ,which means today . I would like to know ,if duphaston can make my bleeding , i mean having again my period. if not what shall i do ,for that?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A negative urine pregnancy test rules out pregnancy.
Delayed periods are commonly due to hormonal imbalances.
Hormonal treatment in the form of progesterone (duphaston) will help to regularize your periods.
If the normonal treatment does not work, you can consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and endometrial biopsy.
