What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having Negative UPT?
i took a test friday morning and at first nothing showered up later that day i looked at the test and saw a fainted line..i retook a test and nothing. sunday night i took a test and nothing.i was on the depo for four years and been off it since February. my doctor gave me a pill to help bring my period on 07/30/2016 and took for five days and no period could i be pregnant.
** Thanks for raising your concern and after reviewing your case history I'm of following opinion:
1. If the home pregnancy kit [HPT] came negative after missing your period, chances are less that you are pregnant but it can be possible that the HCG may be too low to detect it, so have an appointment with a gynecologist to do a blood check
2. She might consider other factors for delay in periods like: hormonal imbalance, being overweight, underweight, stress,PCOS or anovulatory cycle this month
3. At present there is no need of much concern since it may take up to a year after your last injection for the normal cycle and fertility to return but if you want to conceive referral to a gynecologist is best
