What Causes Delay In Menstruation?

Hi. I am 18 years old and I m also five days late with my period. My urine is also a very dark yellow but I haven t had sex with anyone since August and I ve had my period since then. I regularly drink water and exercise so I m getting a little alarmed. Any advice?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, stress or excessive physical activity. If there is no history of sexual intercourse, then chances of pregnancy are ruled out.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including hormonal profile and ultrasound and get appropriate treatment.
