What Causes Decrease In The TSH Level While On Thyronorm?
Dear Dr, I have been on Tab Thyronorm 12.5mcg since past 1 year. It was started since I had symptoms of menstrual irregularity , hair loss, weight gain and sluggishness. My TSH was also raised to 6 however T3 and T4 were nornal. After starting the medicine my TSH level now is 3.9 Please advise if I can taper the medicine further or can stop it altogether Vandana

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.
Based on the history you have shared, your thyroid profile initially shows hypothyroidism and now your TSH is coming back to normal. The dose you are taking is very low and Also, seems to be working. I suggest not changing it yet and repeat thyroid profile after 12 weeks.
