Hello and welcome to HCM,
A bruise which is not fading away with time may not actually be a bruise.
The lesion may be a painful discoloration.
The lesion described by you can be a non-palpable purpura.
Dark colored bruise can occur in cases of inflammation of blood vessels.
The inflammation of blood vessels is called vasculitis and it is auto-immune in origin.
I suggest you to consult a dermatologist or skin specialist for clinical assessment.
In addition, I also suggest you to get some base investigations- complete blood counts including platelet count, bleeding count, clotting count, prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time.
These investigations will assess the platelets and coagulation system which are usually responsible for bruising.

Thanks and take care
