What Causes Damp Areola?

Hi My period was about 10 days late month. I feel like my areola s are damp off and throughout the day for the last couple weeks. When I touch them they feel clammy sometimes. I have seen no actual fluid come them. What could be the reason for this?

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Damp areola can be because of secretions from the glands around the areola or due to secretions from the nipple.
It can present like this either in pregnancy or in galactorrhea.Delayed periods can be present in pregnancy.
I will suggest you to get an urine pregnancy test done, if negative, then you should get your prolactin levels checked, as this may cause galactorrhea.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
