What Causes Coughing Non Stop For Weeks With Headache?

Hi I have been coughing non stop for two weeks. My hands and arms are shaky, I m tired with the headache and it s worse at night. I ve seen a doctor and my medication is finished now it hasn t worked at all. I cough out right though my cough mixture and honey throughout the night and all day. What should I do.

Non stop cough that too , from two weeks .
As you mentioned that hands and feet are shaky .
As you mentioned that you are taking cough mixture and honey with no result .
According to your history , this type of cough may be due to .
1 Asthmatic allergic bronchitis . When such type of patient visit in my clinic I usually prescribe them MONTELEUKAST+ BAMBUTEROLE combination tablet . One tablet twice in day till relief . As this is a prescription medicine , so consult your treating doctor get his opinion.
2 As cough is present from last two weeks and you are also having headache tiredness , so these symptoms may be due to fever . So we can't rule out tuberculosis . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest and E S R ( if very high more than 60 mm suggestive of T B ).
3 Bronchiectasis may be the next reason , so get in M R I and physical examination by a physician .
However there are so many other reason of such cough ( non stop ) but one of them is cancer also . In your case in my opinion asthmatic allergic bronchitis is most important reason , so consult a physician and get his opinion ( 2nd one ).
