What Causes Cough, Sore Throat And Stuffed Nose?

I ve been experiencing cold symptoms such as cough, sore throat, stuffed nose, mucus for at last a few weeks now. It seems like that just when it feels like its getting better it ends up coming back even worse. The cough has been pretty consistent, and just recently I ve been having issues with my stomach. Been somewhat gassy along with cramps and almost like a stomach ache. It s hard to describe.

Hello,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

I am pleased to be able to assist you. You are suffering from flu (upper respiratory tract infection) and you are most probably exposed repeatedly to the trigger which is your environment mostly. You need to keep warm, drink some warm tea or coffee, exercise indoors (if there is too much cold outside) and avoid coughing out in order not to contaminate others. You may also obtain antihistamines (chlorpheniramine) and paracetamol/tylenol to help relief symptoms. If symptoms persist, especially if high fever comes in, then you need to pay a visit to a physician who can actually assist you obtain a proper diagnosis. Normally it is not dangerous and you will soon be relieved if you protect yourself accordingly from cold and affected individuals.
