What Causes Costochondritis And High Platelet Count?

I'm 22, 5'4", and 180 lbs. I was diagnosed with costochondritis in February after experiencing symptoms since August 2010, but the pain has not abated, and I'm getting concerned. I was also told my platelet count was a bit high the last time I donated, and I was wondering if the two were connected in any way.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have costochondrities. you should take antiinflammatory drugs for your costochondritis. Your plateletes count has no relation with your costochondritis. Platelets count may increase in inflammation but not a cause of big worry or concern.
Hope I have answered your question.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
