Hi,

The symptoms you described, such as a constantly stuffed nose, cough, sore throat, pins, and needles sensation, and post-nasal drip, could be indicative of several conditions such as allergies, sinusitis, or acid reflux disease.
* Allergies: Allergic rhinitis or hay fever is a condition in which your immune system reacts to allergens, such as pollen, dust, or pet dander, and causes inflammation in your nose and throat. This can lead to symptoms like a runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, coughing, and a sore throat.
* Sinusitis: Sinusitis is an inflammation or infection of the sinuses, which are the air-filled cavities in your skull that are connected to your nasal passages. When the sinuses become inflamed, they can cause symptoms such as nasal congestion, post-nasal drip, facial pain, and a cough.
* Acid reflux disease: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a condition in which stomach acid backs up into your esophagus, causing irritation and inflammation. This can lead to symptoms such as heartburn, a sore throat, and a cough.

Try to manage your symptoms with the following methods:
* Avoiding triggers: If you have allergies, try to avoid allergens that trigger your symptoms. If you have acid reflux, avoid foods that trigger acid reflux such as fatty foods, spicy foods, and caffeine.
* Nasal sprays: Over-the-counter nasal sprays such as saline sprays and steroid sprays can help alleviate nasal congestion and post-nasal drip.
* Antihistamines: Over-the-counter antihistamines can help reduce allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, and itchy eyes.
* Acid reducers: If you have acid reflux, over-the-counter acid reducers such as antacids and proton pump inhibitors can help reduce stomach acid.
* Steam inhalation: Loosening the mucus through steam inhalation can relieve nasal congestion.
* Healthy diet: Eating a healthy diet low in saturated and trans fats can help control cholesterol levels.
* Exercise: Regular exercise can help improve cholesterol levels and lower blood pressure.

If your symptoms persist despite these measures or worsen, it's important to consult with your healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

I feel it's due to allergic cold with sinus infection causing spread of infection to throat and probably bronchi. All of needs to be considered while treating antibiotics with anti-allergic and histamine blockers are to be given in required combination and doses according to your health. Please consult an ENT specialist for a specific advice.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
