What Causes Constant Pain In The Neck And Head After A Whiplash Injury?

I had a whiplash injury in August on my right side neck and head. The pain is still excruciating daily and I am now depressed as I have this constant pain. I have paracetamol and gabapentin plus physio, acupuncture, heat and cold. What else can I do to get some relief.

hello,
this is due to compression of nerves between spine. I guess you must have had x-ray cervical spine AP/ Lat view and mri. Since medicine you are already receiving, you can first request for change of gabapentin to Pregabalin and also for addition of tab neurobion forte once a day which is a nerve vitamin. Also, you can request your physiotherapists for traction treatment of neck. If none is helping then you will need the surgery and need to visit orthopedician.
I find this answer helpful
