What Causes Congestion In Lungs,headache And Holes In Ear Drum?
Hello Doc, I have been taking Metzok 25 and S Numlo 5 for the last 4 months for hypertension control. Now I have been told that there is a congestion in my lungs as I have been suffering from cough for the last couple of months. I have been also told that there are holes in my eardrum that have not got filled. I suffer from headaches on and off and get a feeling that something is crawling under my scalp. I have been prescribed Cepodem xp 325, Alaspan AM 100 and sibellium 5mg. For hypertension, I have been prescribed only S Numlo 5. I would like to get a second opinion on whether the medicines except for s Numlo should be taken or not as I believe all these symptoms are side effects of the BP medicines. Thanks for your time

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Congestion in lungs is due to lower respiratory tract infection, but not related to side effect of drugs. The hole in the eardrum is also bacterial infection related issue.
As per my clinical experience, Cepodem and Alaspan AM are mandatory to be taken for respiratory infection recovery without failure, sibelium can be stopped against starting to consume paracetamol for headache.
