What Causes Chronic Weight Loss?

Hi doctor, my age 40 weight 80kg nd hight 6ft 2.5inch, male working in sales & travel a lot. But from last 1yr i consistantly loosing my weight nd look so thin. What is the main reason of weight loose in this age without exercise.

Hi i did review your concern sir.
Weight loss more than 10% in 6 months and unintentional is a worrisome sign.It can be due to chronic infection like tuberculosis, due to thyroid problems, diabetes or an underlying malignancy or a bone marrow process.
i would recommend you to get a routine CBC, random blood sugar, Serum TSH and stool for occult blood test to begin with.
After the results of this investigation we would be in better position to discuss what your cause of problem may be sir,
