What Causes Chronic Low Grade Fever?
I have a persistent low grade fever, runs between 99-100, post surgical removal of chemo port. Besides fatigue, no other symptoms. Doctor ran blood and urine, all normal. WBC was 10.8, platelets normal, nothing from urine culture, thyroid functions normal. Have a history of DVT and PE, but legs are normal, no swelling. Chest is clear, no cough or sneezing.

-inflammation;
-bacterial infection;
-neoplastic process;
-chronic tonsillitis, sinusitis,lymphadenitis;
-disease of connective tissue;
-UTI;
-Disbiosis of intestine(E.coli)
I recommend you-
1.Take antibiotic - Take cefpodoxime by mouth with food 1 tablet twice a day for 5-7 days.
2.Check your blood test after 7 days again,observe WBC in dynamic,it will decrease.
