What Causes Chronic Low Grade Fever With Sore Throat And Nasal Drip?

I have been running a slight fever for the past 3 days. Also have heavy sweating, sore throat runny nose, and all I wanna do is sleep. When I get up and move around, I feel like I have a golfball size ball of phlegm stuck in the back of my throat, but if I cough, nothing clears and I cant breathe. Could this possibly signs of mono?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms of low grade fever, runny nose, sore throat and cough can be due to upper respiratory tract infection or can also be due to influenza commonly known as Flu..
Both these are viral infections and the treatment is mostly to relieve the symptoms as the virus does not get killed with antiviral medications..
You can take antibiotics like Augmentin or Cephexime to relieve or prevent secondary bacterial infection, take Tylenol for reducing fever, take Ibuprofen to relieve pains and aches, take oral and nasal decongestants like Phenylephrine to relieve congestion and cough suppressants like Dextromethorphan to relieve cough..
Dowarm saline gargles, steam inhalations and avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Take ample of rest..
