What Causes Chronic Headaches With Migraines?

I have had a bad headache for 48 hours now and to the point where i am woken up from a sound sleep, once I am up nausea sets in and now my face is warm and flushed. I do suffer from migraines and thought maybe it was one of those but not as my migraine meds are not even touching it. Today i tried Tylenol (2) and nothing. What could this be? Fighting a flu maybe?

migrain is due to vasodilatation of cerebral vessels, associated with hot flushes, which gives rise to head ache and nausea.
