What Causes Chest Soreness, Heavy Phlegm Discharges, Bleeding, Cough After Stent Implantation?

Had a stent put 4 wks ago and have had soreness in center of chest, then about a week ago started getting heavy phlegm, big globs of it enough to fill a pint jar not real green, some clear, some with streaks of blood, a heavy convulsive cough normally brings it up, I am taking warfarin, what should I do

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
You should immediately stop warfarin because it is anticoagulant and can cause blood in sputum.
So stop warfarin and get done PT (prothrombin time). If it is higher ,then you need to take vitamin k injection to control PT and revert the anticoagulant effect of warfarin.
Also get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection. Because heavy phlegm with blood can be seen in lung infection (pneumonia ).
So chest x ray is needed to rule out pneumonia.
