What Causes Chest Pain Along With Neck Pain, Nausea And Dizziness?

My sis is 67 and lives out of state, was rushed to nearest ER today with chest pain, neck pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness. She’s been stabilized and had a few tests... docs are reporting ,no heart attack, but elevated levels of the clotting enzyme... I’m just trying to understand more about her condition...

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I guess she might have had Myocardial infarction. Chest pain, neck pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness are typical of MI. I think her cardiac enzymes might have been elevated which has been told to you as elevated clotting factors. She needs to be put on long term anti-clotting drugs like ecosprin. If the MI is severe enough she may be suggested to undergo angioplasty or stent insertion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
