What Causes Chest Discomfort And Difficulty In Taking Deep Breaths?
hi, i had a bad chest cold in 2010 and since then i get episodes of central chest discomfort and difficulty taking deep breaths and the need to cough after each breath. The cough is dry and the episodes happen without provocation. What do you think it is?

According your complaint it could be chronic bronchitis or asthma ....
Respiratory examination done....
If needed chest x ray and PFT useful...
Here chronic obstructive pulmonary disease also ruled out by PFT....
Avoid smoking....
If need bronchodilator may be prescribed.
According to cause treatment done....
If needed allergic condition rule out by CBC show high eosinophil.
For that montelukast and fecofenidine like drug needed.
