What Causes Charley Horse Between The Breasts Causing Heaviness?
I have what feels similar to a charley horse right between my breast. sometimes I am just sitting and it does it. What is causing this. I am heavier and I dont know if it is like fat around that area. Could you please let me know what I need to do. I am 56
Sudden painful tightening (charley horse) between the breasts can be seen due to different causes like: - Muscular spasm - Acid reflux leading to heartburn - Costocondritis, - Rarely injuries or fractures of the joints there. - Pain even sitting at rest may suggest cardiac problem also sometimes.
According to your age and symptoms, better to get evaluated. Please consult your Physician once, get examined and go for chest X-ray if suggested. According to the findings treatment can be planned. Simple muscular pain can be treated with antispasmodic drugs.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
