What Causes Burning Sensation In The Feet?

I have r.a.and have been having problems with my feet feeling like they re covered in hot coals. Podirist has me off work and he says it the tendons coming off the bones but now both feet are burning. Any ideas I can mention to Dr on next visit? Thank u

Burning sensation in feet in rheumatoid arthritis can be due to nerve damage or pressure on nerve caused due to disease process itself.Its necessary that the disease remains under control with proper medication.Certain drugs like gabapentin are used to treat the burning feet symptoms.These drugs can be given only under supervision by your consulting doctor.
Another possible cause is vitamin B12 deficiency.For that you can neurobion tablets containing vitamin B12 daily.But before that I feel consultation from your physician is necessary regarding nerve damage caused due to rheumatoid arthritis.So keep regular follow ups with your treating physician.


Hope you have done with blood glucose level to rule out diabetes mellitus which is another main cause of burning feet.
