What Causes Burning Sensation Around The Navel?
I m a 42 year old female that has noticed over the last few months a pulling and at times burning sensation around my belly button. This morning when I put my finger inside my belly button I could feel a hard marble sized lump. It caused discomfort when I pressed it and the discomfort has been on and off all day.

This could be a small umbilical hernia that has developed or a cyst. You would have to see a doctor for an exam to get an exact answer. If the pain becomes severe you should go to emergency since small hernias can sometimes get trapped and cause severe pain.
If it is a cyst, it could be drained.
