General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
Your history is typical of stomach ulcer. You need to take antacids like omeprozole or rabeprazole once a day.
Refrain from taking oily, spicy food and take tea, coffee and chocolates as less as possible.
You may also take liquid containing aluminium and magnesium hydroxide along with simethicon (e.g. liq. Gelusil). This will form a layer on the ulcer and give relief from burning pain.
If there is no improvement after 3-4 months of treatment, than you should undergo endoscopy and rule out other causes including H.pylori infection.
Please consult you GP for further management.
Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks for using HCM.
Do ask if any further question is there.
Take care.
