What Causes Burning Pain In Feet And Hands While Treating Hyperuricemia?

Hi, I m 44 years old and my uric acid was on higher acid that is 425 to 475 mmol. Doctors have started zyloric 100 mg for the last six months. Now my uric acid reading is in the range of 285 to 355 mmol. I m on complete diet control and not eating any high purine item except chicken meat once or twice a week. Still I have a burning sensation and pain in my foot soles and hands especially in the afternoon or night hours. I m also taking Inderol 40 mg tablets due to hypertension (one tablet in the morning and in evening). What are the reasons of burning sensation and pain in my feet and hands? Regards.

Hi,

It could be due to vitamin / mineral deficiency. Get vitamin B12 levels, fasting sugar and calcium levels done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
