What Causes Bumpy Patches Of Skin Near Vagina And Butt Cheeks?

I have two bumpy patches of skin that is very irritated, not so much itchy, more so painful to the touch, right where my butt cheeks start to touch each other, close to the vagina. This popped up the same day my period started. STDs are ruled out because I havent been sexually actived since last tested. This is my first time ever having this problem. It is uncomfortable having my legs together or even sitting because the areas rub together or against something else. What could it be?

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to fungal infection like tinea corporis. A visual examination with a dermatologist will help to rule out this. If you send a picture of it then will be more helpful in identifying. If you were my patient with such condition then I would advise ointments with combination of antifungal like miconazole and corticosteroid like flucinolone for local application. I also advise fluconazole tab orally weekly once for 1 month to stop recurrence.
