My ultrasound for lower abdomen and pelvis showed that both b ovaries are visualised and appear bulky. Right ovary measures 4.6 cm X 2.5 cm X 2.0 cm vol 2.1 ml Left ovary measures 3.8 cm X 2.1 cm X 2.1 cm vol 9.2 ml Ovarian stroma appears normal on both sides No parametrial mass lesion is seen. No free fluid is seen in the pelvis
hi healthcare magic user, bulky ovaries could be due to some mass in the ovary or polycystic ovaries. sometimes due to infection their is congestion and edema of ovary can give rise to bulky ovaries. To be on safer side please get color Doppler of the ovaries to rule out malignancy.
