What Causes Brownish Vaginal Discharge After Menstruation?
I just got off my period on the 22nd of August and I started bleeding agian on the 6th of September but it was light an pinkish and it remained that way for a couple days then I started wearing panty liners an when I wiped it was still very light but brownish on my panty liner an yesterday it got heavier so I started wearing tampons and now 10days later I m still bleeding any ideas on what this could be or mean?
If you are sexually active, then late pregnancy should be ruled out through home pregnancy test or blood test for beta-hCG. Implantation bleeding or early miscarriage should be confirmed.
Some underlying causes could be hormonal imbalance, endometriosis, old blood, endometrial tissue, hormonal imbalance, stress/ depression, vaginal/ pelvic infection etc.
I suggest to consult with gynecologist for complete health check up with relevant investigation like ultrasound scan, blood count and hormone test to confirm the diagnosis. Take proper medication if required.
Maintain genital hygiene. Avoid mental stress. Good luck.
